Intimate Motherhood Photography Session

I'm seeking a mama with a newborn or toddler for a heartfelt at-home photography session that celebrates the profound bond between mother and child. This is an opportunity to turn those everyday snuggles and soft kisses into timeless art.

In the soft glow of a cozy afternoon, we'll capture the gentle, unspoken love that fills your home. Picture yourself curled up with your little one, warm sunlight dancing through the curtains as you share a quiet lullaby or a fit of giggles. These sessions focus on emotional connection and tenderness - the kind of moments where you feel your baby's heartbeat against yours and time stands still. We'll document the real interactions - the way your child's tiny hand rests on yours, the peaceful comfort of cheek-to-chest cuddles, and those playful squeals that light up your heart.

Every mother's story is unique, and this session is inclusive and welcoming to all moms who cherish these moments, no matter your background or family shape. The tone will be artistic and genuine, aiming to preserve the raw beauty of motherhood - the laughter and the tears, the chaos and the calm. After all, a mother is her baby's first home, and within that embrace lives a warmth and safety like no other.

Session Details

• Mood & Atmosphere: Soft, gentle, and deeply intimate. The vibe is relaxed and loving, with a focus on warmth and connection. (A few playful tickles or silly faces are always welcome, but the heart of the session is those snuggly, soulful moments.)
• Location & Light: Your home - a familiar, cozy space where you and your child are most at ease. We'll use beautiful natural afternoon light streaming in to create a dreamy, inviting feel. No studio backdrops or stiff poses - just real life, bathed in golden light. To ensure the best possible setting for the session, I kindly ask that you send a few photos of your home during the afternoon, showing where the light naturally falls. This will help me find the perfect space for these intimate moments.
• Wardrobe & Styling: Simple and natural. Mom can wear a flowing, comfortable dress in soft neutral tones (think ivory, blush, earthy greys) that flows as you move. Little ones can be dressed in delicate, simple clothing - a plain onesie, a cozy swaddle, or even just a diaper for those adorable baby rolls. Bare feet, tousled hair, and natural makeup are perfect - I want you, just as you are.
• Skin-to-Skin Moments: You should be comfortable with intimate, skin-to-skin scenes. Some of the most powerful images might be of you holding your baby against your chest, or sharing a warm bath or shower cuddle together. (Imagine a bubble bath with your little one on your lap, or cheek-to-cheek under a gentle shower stream, or snuggling up in the warm afternoon sun, singing your favourite songs with each other - the closeness and trust in those images are pure magic.) These semi-nude moments will be done very tastefully. The goal is to highlight that incredible mother-child bond and the purity of your connection.
• Inclusivity: This call is open to mothers of all bodies and backgrounds. Whether you're a brand new mom or chasing a lively toddler, if you treasure affectionate, quiet moments, I'd love for you to apply. Every type of mom is welcome - what matters is the love you share with your child.
• Sharing the Art: This is a model call, which means the session will be complimentary (free of charge). In return, you'll be asked to sign a model release consenting to the images being shared on my portfolio, website, and social media. (I want to celebrate these beautiful moments and inspire other moms with them!) You will receive a selection of high-resolution digital images from the shoot as a thank you for participating, so you can cherish these memories forever.

No modeling experience needed at all - just bring yourself, your child, and an open heart. I will guide you through the session with gentle prompts (and give plenty of time for feeding, changing, or soothing as needed). The pace will be slow and baby-led; we'll take breaks and keep things comfortable for you. My goal is to make you feel at ease and beautiful, so that the love you share shines through every image.
